G is for
Ghost Town,
Golf and Greek

A lovely sunny day out in the ghost village of Tyneham; it was commandeered by the military in 1943 for training which was intended to be temporary for the duration of the war, displacing over 200 residents, however, in 1948 the Army placed a compulsory purchase order, and it has been in use by the military for training ever since. Followed by a round of Crazy Golf near Sandbanks and then dinner at Zorba's Greek restaurant in Bournemouth.
